    From the heart of India 🇮🇳, meet Purvansh Jain (he/him/his), a Data Science aficionado at Penn. His guiding light as President is the profound belief: "Of the students, By the students, For the students". He is also an active member of the Programming Committee at GAPSA.

    Beyond his leadership roles, Purvansh's palette of passions is diverse: from culinary experiments 👨‍🍳, invigorating swims 🏊‍♂️, adventurous hikes ⛰, to strategic games of chess ♟ & badminton 🏸.

  • Sparsh Maheshwari

    Vice - President

    Sparsh is pursuing his Master’s in Social Policy and Data Analytics at the School of Social Policy and Practice. He loves organizing events for people to come together, have fun and build strong communities. He wastes his time toggling between Chess.com and Instagram. He is also part of GAPSA, PAGSA, SP2Gov and works on campus as a Family Center Fellow.

    Sharvari is a third-year PhD student in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering department at Penn. Her work involves building agent based models for oncology. She is an avid reader and an even more enthusiastic Hindustani Classical music geek. She loves to travel and spends almost all of her hard-earned stipend on trips across the US.

    Gaurav Mangal is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. He is an active member of GAPSA as well serving as Director of the International Student Affairs. He is really passionate ion about the issues affecting the international student community at Penn.

    Social Activities Chair

    Arnav is a second-year Master’s student studying Electrical Engineering at Penn. He is involved in academic research at Penn Engineering as well as the Wharton School. He is an avid tabla player and soccer enthusiast. He is also the Graduate President of Penn Sargam - South Asian Music Band @Penn

  • Krishleen Kaur

    External Affairs Chair

    Krishleen is pursuing Master of Behavioral and Decision Sciences at UPenn. She is innovating at the intersection of design strategy and healthcare at Penn Medicine, to improve health equity and clinical decision making. Born and raised in Mumbai, in front of a mic, she is an orator, taking the audience on a journey, riding the story’s sine curve.

  • Atharva Bankar

    Communications Chair

    Atharva is an MSE Data Science candidate at Penn Engineering. Outside of academia and professional setting, he loves trekking and is also getting into rock climbing. He has been on over 75 treks in the Sahyadri Mountain Range and is currently exploring the Cascades and Appalachians in the US.

  • Sovesh

    Advocacy Chair

    Sovesh is a first-year PhD student in the BioEngineering department at Penn. His work involves applying deep learning techniques to understand the complexities in infant brain images. Outside of his PhD life, he loves to travel and has traveled across 19 states and 12 national parks.
